Unfinished
The Generous Wife
You are an unfinished work. Your husband is an unfinished work. We’re all in the process of growing from where we were to who we are becoming (and we have this sad little thing called a sin nature).
Let’s look at ourselves and our sweeties and stop asking for perfection. I’m not saying that we shouldn’t deal with sin or work with God in growing up. I’m just suggesting we keep the bigger picture in view and act and speak with gracious understanding.
We have moments of real strength and ability and then we have those moments where we wish we weren’t such boneheads. We are more than our mistakes, we’re in process. So are our husbands.
A perfect marriage is just two imperfect people who refuse to give up on each other.
