Tell Me About That
The Generous Husband
The other day I got to know a fellow who has been attending our church for about a year. We had talked at church a few times but never spent much time together. He came into the coffee place where Lori and I hang out on Tuesday mornings and I and the friend with me invited him to join us.
I had a compression wrap on my arm from a blood draw that morning. The gentlemen commented I must have just given blood. I told him it was a routine blood draw to monitor a condition I had. I wasn’t going to say any more, but he asked what condition and then followed up with “Tell me about that“.
“Tell me about that.” is a great question. It shows interest and it’s open-ended so it invites more than a one-word answer. I suggest you use these four words with your wife on a regular basis. Fostering deeper communication with the woman you love is a win-win.
