Marriage Soil
The Generous Wife
I love puttering in the garden. There’s something about playing in the dirt and watching bits of green grow that makes me happy.
That said, even if you’re not a gardener, you can learn a lot about life (and marriage) from a garden.
Soil content is very important and every year I add compost and lots of bunny poo to my garden. You need to keep your soil full of nutrients so the plants have plenty of “food.”
As a life and marriage concept, it just means that you need to regularly “feed” the various parts of yourself and your marriage. You can’t run on empty and expect life to be sweet or produce much fruit.
What thoughts, choices, and activities build-up you, your hubby, and your marriage? Feed your personal and marriage soil.
The soul (and your marriage), like the body, lives by what it feeds on.
