Better Off
The Generous Wife
So I was sitting in church when my phone went off. Arrggh! Really? I can’t believe that happened. I’m usually so careful about that.
That said, it got me to thinking about how phones can be such huge interruptions and distractions. Even just having the phone laying on the table can change the tenor of face-to-face conversations.
I’m going to have to think about that one. How do I use my phone (because it is a good tool) and not let it harm the fabric of my relationships?
No phone at the dinner table is a simple thing for me, but I need to look at how I handle my phone during the day as well.
How are you doing?
Your cell phone has already replaced your camera, your calendar and your alarm clock. Don’t let it replace your family.
